| Dr. Jean-Jacques Kassis |

Dr. Jean-Jacques Kassis is a graduate of Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. He completed 3 years of podiatric medicine and surgical residency training at the Miami Veterans Affair Medical Center. His residency training included treatment and care of acute foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care.

Dr. Kassis served as Chief Resident at the Miami Veterans Affair Hospital where he worked under Dr. Michael Cohen specializing in sportsmedicine and conservative and surgical management of lower extremity sports related injuries. Dr. Kassis has extensive training in wound care and diabetic lower extremity related complications. He was trained by Dr. Gary Rothenberg and received advanced diabetic limb-salvage training during his rotation in Tucson, Arizona with Dr. David Armstrong.

Dr. Kassis has lectured numerous times on many complications affecting the foot and ankle. He is an avid soccer and tennis player. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
