Dr. Michael Tritto received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. He then went on to finish a two-year surgical residency at Kern Hospital in Warren, Michigan where he received extensive training in forefoot reconstruction and diabetic limb salvage. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He has been practicing at our Rockville location since 1991. |
Dr. Tritto received his B.S. Degree in Biology from Penn State University in 1985. While at Penn State, Dr. Tritto was a member of the wrestling team and earned his varsity letter in 1985. He still remains active in the sport coaching a youth wrestling team as well as helping with a local high school team. |
Dr. Tritto has been an active member of both the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association (MPMA) and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). He has served on the MPMA executive board since 1999 and has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President. He was President of the MPMA from 2004-2006. He has been on the APMA Health Systems Committee since 2000 and in 2008 is serving as the committee chair. He received the "Podiatrist of the Year" Award from the MPMA in 2001. |
Dr. Tritto has been elected Chair of the Department of Podiatric Surgery at Suburban Hospital for 2008-2010. He also was Chair of the department from 2000-2002. Dr. Tritto has lectured regionally and nationally and has been published in the American Journal of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Tritto and his wife Melissa reside in Montgomery County and have 3 sons, Austin, Logan and Spencer.
